Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition (2023) is a remaster of the 1994 first-person shooter Rise of the Triad. The game has a resolution of up to 4K, a high frame rate, an easy-to-use level editor, multiplayer with multiple game modes, content cut from the original and a completely new level. Initially, the 1994 game was supposed to be a sequel to Wolfenstein 3D called Wolfenstein 3D 2: Rise Of The Triad, but a conflict arose between Apogee studio and publisher id Software. As a result, the development was restarted.
